The Centre for Canadian Studies at ULL

In 1992 a group of specialists in Canadian Studies working at our university under the direction of Prof. Dr. Bernd Dietz Guerrero found the Centre for Canadian Studies at the University of La Laguna (CEC), thus creating a space for the research and study of very diverse areas of Canadian culture in the fields of Arts and Social Sciences. Starting with a library of more than 1000 titles donated by the Embassy of Canada in Spain, the CEC, under the direction of Dr. Juan Ignacio Oliva Cruz since 1997, has become a reference point for both Spanish and foreign scholars.
